This ultra urbane kew swimming pool was designed by kings landscapes. Within our first initial brief with the client there request were relatively simple, create something timeless but simple. Give the fact our clients had already used a lot of bluestone through out there house this would prove to be a key ingredient to making this design a success. The back wall/ to the pool also acts as a stunning bluestone feature wall. Within the wall we’ve added protruding water blade to also act as a water feature. All the paving we carried out was done using bam stone bluestone bought in from port fairy.
The timber screen you can see was a 40mm red iron bark which acts as a beautiful stream line back drop to the design.
The decking was constructed out of 135mm spotted gum again being an integral key to the design.
All the seating built within this project also acted as a retaining wall to the next door neighbours yard which was one of the biggest issues we had to address.
Over all this job to us at kings was a true stepping stone to us in stepping up to now be seen as one of Melbourne’s most unique boutique landscape designers.
