Jan Juc on The Hill pool and landscape design by King’s has been featured in the April 2023 edition of Landscape & Garden Design magazine. The project was initiated by the client’s wish for a resort-like garden that included a new pool, spa, fireplace, and pool house. The project was aimed at creating a wind-blocked garden with a lush view that offers the feeling of being in a resort.
The design team worked with the client to create a garden that was beautiful, functional, and sustainable. The new pool and spa were elevated 1.2m above the ground with an infinity edge to give the wow factor and provide a resort feel. The planter boxes were added at either end of the pool, and established magnolia little gems were planted. The blue pool tile was chosen to give a resort-like feel, which completely transformed the outdoor space.
In addition to the pool area, King’s Gardens & Pools developed a rustic fireplace and BBQ area using a filletti cobblestone to add to the rustic charm feel. The wind-swept garden was transformed into a lush resort-like space that is both functional and sustainable.
The pool and landscape design has been featured in several media publications, including The Local Project as well as Landscape & Garden Design magazine, which has contributed to its popularity and recognition in the landscaping and design industry. The project has won multiple awards, including the 2021 award for pool design form Landscaping Victoria.
